Automatic Promotion (No "Pass" Required)

Unlike traditional universities, you do not need to pass all (or even any) of your current year/semester exams to be promoted to the next year. You are eligible to take admission in the 2nd or 3rd year even if your previous year's results are still pending, if you missed the exams, or if you failed certain papers.

Filing the Promotee Form

Promotion is not automatic in the sense that you don't have to do anything; you still must officially enroll for the next year.

• To move to the next academic year, you must fill out the VMOU Promotee Form (often listed as the Second/Third Year Admission Form on the portal).
• You must pay the full tuition fee for the upcoming year during the official admission cycles (either the January or July session).

• If you do not clear all your first, second, and third-year papers within this total maximum timeframe, your enrollment will lapse, and you will not receive your degree.
